Gavin is a Senior Vice President with Baird and a Certified Private Wealth Advisor®. He began his career in 2000 with Merrill Lynch and joined David Marshall in 2003 to form the Marshall-Amato Group which has grown to become the Amato-Buxton Group.
Prior to starting his career, Gavin received his Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from Willamette University where he participated on the Bearcats Baseball and Golf teams.
In his spare time he regularly plays golf, baseball, bocce ball and is an assistant basketball coach for Jesuit High School. Gavin is a chemo-pal with the Children’s Cancer Association and serves on the Oregon Leadership Council with the American Lung Association. Since 2007, as the Jesuit High School Finance Day Speaker, Gavin has continuously educated younger generations to form a budget, live within their means and start saving to meet future financial goals.
