I was an early adopter of the advisory business model, delivering high-quality advice that focuses on my client’s personal goals and desires. For the last 40 years, I’ve built meaningful relationships based on the things that matter most to my clients. It’s truly satisfying to impart financially savvy, relationship-focused guidance where clients need confidence and reassurance. I love helping clients see the big picture, and I have a passion for sharing my expertise to bring peace of mind as clients achieve their goals.
In 1990, I obtained my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado. In 2000, I successfully completed the Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation (CIMA®) through The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. I’m also a member of the Investments and Wealth Institute.
Where were you born and where do you live now?
I was born in Spokane, Washington, and grew up in Cashmere, Washington. I moved to Portland, Oregon, after I graduated from Washington State University in 1982. I’ve resided in the great Pacific Northwest my whole life.
What was the most recent movie you really enjoyed?
I’m a big fan of the original Top Gun movie, and I really enjoyed the second one, Top Gun II.
What do you do in your free time?
I enjoy all the Pacific Northwest has to offer: The wine country, the ocean beach, the beautiful Cascade mountains, and fly fishing the many streams in four different states. I grew up in a small town in Washington but have a heart for the city too. So grateful to have grown up and live in such an amazing place!
